“So you’re having a beach wedding and you’re wondering how many hours you need to hire your wedding photographer for, and you’ve got a tight budget.

I get it.

The least amount of hours that you can get away with, and still be able to capture everything from your day, is about a 3-4 hour package. Have your wedding photographer start 1 hour before your ceremony. They can come in, snap off a couple of getting ready photos- really just the finishing touches of your makeup, having you get zipped up into your dress- go straight into the ceremony, out into the beach for an hour for those sunset shots that I know you’re coming down here for, then you’re right into your reception for one hour.

You’re going to go straight into first dance, cutting cake, bouquet toss- get all those important bits out of the way.
