How They Met
Georgia met Joshua in high school when she was just 16 years old, and they have been inseparable ever since.
How They Got Engaged
When Georgia and Joshua were on vacation with their family in Playa del Carmen at Hotel Riu Yucatan, Josh arranged for two family members to go paragliding above their beach. As they flew high above our couple, they held up a massive sigh up which read ‘Georgia, Will You Marry Me?’
Georgia was stunned, and when she turned around and Joshua was down on one knee.
Why A Destination Wedding In Mexico?
As they got engaged at The Riu Yucatan, it holds a very special place in their hearts and seemed only right that they get married on the beach in the same place, surrounded by the people they love most.
And so they planned an intimate destination wedding that was simple but stylish, with the cutest ring bearer ever – their son, Arlo.
Their Favorite Moment
Georgia tells us that the best wedding day moment was right after they said “I Do!”, walking back down the aisle hand in hand, surrounded by tons of onlookers, with the feeling of “We finally did it!”
