Nadine and Ryan are Fun In the Sun Weddings’ newest newlyweds! They are proof that love is patient and that fate takes her time.
Here is their story…
How they met
Nadine and Ryan met for the first time when they were just 10 and 11 years old at summer camp. Then, when fate decided the time was right, they reconnected again in high school when he was captain of the boys’ soccer team, and she captained the girls’.
Why a destination wedding in Mexico
Growing up on the jersey shore, they always knew they wanted to get married on the beach. Since Ryan had proposed on the beach in Mexico they thought it was also the perfect place to get married.
Her beach wedding dress
Nadine’s wedding dress has a special story. After saying yes to the dress, Nadine looked up the designer name and style so she could share with her loved ones. To her surprise, the name of the dress was “Agnetta”, which is the Greek variation for her Grandmother’s unique name, Agnes. Her grandma passed away when she was 11, so she could not physically be present at their wedding in Mexico, however, she definitely was in spirit – through a wedding dress!
She was a stunner in that dress, with the Glam Squad at Beso Brides there on her wedding day to take her to next level Va-Voom.
The wedding decor
They hired the gifted wedding planner, Kristee, of Fresa Weddings to bring their vision of an elegant beach wedding to life at the Grand Coral Beach Club, with a white and gold color palette and some pops of dusty blue to complement the ocean. They had beachfront champagne and whiskey bars from Kay and Tee Boutique Rentals, being that those are their drinks of choice.
Vanessa Jaimes, the undisputed queen of floral design in Riviera Maya, had beautiful blooms in crispy white dripping from everywhere you looked; the wedding arch, the beachfront doorway, the lounges and the tables.
The wedding day
Their favorite moment was right after their beach wedding ceremony when they kicked off the night by popping champagne bottles from the champagne bar, and at that moment the Mariachi began playing.
