How They Met
On a beautiful Spring day at their mutual friends BBQ in downtown Charleston, Tessa wandered into the kitchen looking for something to eat, and stumbled upon Eliot, who she found shockingly handsome. She introduced herself, and then dug into some chicken wings. Tessa thought Eliot was interested in her career, and so she spent quite some time trying to sell him a mattress. At the end of the party, she gave him her business card.
A week later, Eliot showed up at Tessa’s showroom. She assumed he was there to buy a bed, but really he was there to ask her out to dinner.
Four years later, Eliot still carries that fateful business card in his wallet.
The Destination Wedding Details
The Bride and Groom planned their Mexico destination wedding at Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya. Tessa and Eliot chose to have a First Look photoshoot so that they could be with their friends and family for cocktail hour, rather than off taking photos.
They all had fun with their personalized maracas from Decor and Gifts made by local Mexican artisans. Each guest had one to shake when they were pronounced husband and wife at their beach wedding ceremony, and everyone had fun with the mariachi at cockatil hour.
